The cost for this day out is only £5 per exhibitor pitch*. We need exhibitors who can be with us before the show opens at 10am and that can stay until 3pm.

Dedicated free trailer parking for exhibitors is available on request.
The on site cafe and toilets are open from 7.30 am for early arrivals.

Terms and Conditions of Exhibitor Entry

The show organisers aim is to provide a safe, well planned environment for car enthusiasts to enjoy the day. We are all volunteers and car enthusiasts just like you, so good timekeeping is important to all of us!
The Classic Car Show is open to the public from 10am to 3pm. The show area is available to set up from 7:30am until 9.50am. The show is zoned depending on the type and era of the vehicle, an official will direct exhibitors to correct locations upon arrival. Organizers can be identified by a coloured high viz vest.
NO vehicle movement is allowed on the show area during the hours of 10am & 3pm. This is to ensure pedestrian safety in the show area. In exceptional circumstances please contact the event control point and our marshal team will assist.
Refuelling of vehicles on the show area is prohibited. Quantities of fuel or other flammable substances other than those present in the vehicle tanks are not to be brought onto the show area Exhibitor vehicles are not to be started or run for the purposes of demonstration during the event due to the excessive noise created.
The Owners and Drivers of the exhibit or entry must be covered by a current Third Party Insurance Policy. Owners must ensure drivers are fully competent and have a valid and appropriate licence and be qualified in law to drive or handle the exhibit or entry.
NO exhibit or entry must be left running unattended and if unattended MUST be left securely ‘braked and immobilised’ (ignition keys must be removed) and all working entries and exhibits must be in safe working condition.
MAXIMUM speed of 5 MPH shall apply to all moving vehicles including all entries of exhibits on entering or leaving the show area. Any exhibitor found exceeding the speed limit excessively will be asked to leave forthwith. All owners and drivers must obey marshals’ instructions and not inconvenience or endanger any persons on the site or on any part of the show area.
Well behaved dogs are allowed on site but must be kept under control and on a leash at all times. Pets are the direct responsibility of their handlers.
Once confirmed and paid, exhibitor reservations are strictly non refundable or transferable.
Our venue is managed on the day by volunteers, therefore we ask please leave your space as you found it.
Smoking is prohibited in all indoor and covered spaces at the event.
All vehicles are accepted into the show on condition that the show destination and show organisers cannot be held responsible for exhibitors negligence involving damage or injury to vehicles or persons. Similarly for loss or theft of vehicles, contents and equipment. Show organisers will NOT accept any responsibility whatsoever for any losses, exhibitors must ensure that they have adequate insurance. Owners are responsible for their own personal effects.
HEALTH & SAFETY STATEMENT
As the organisers of The Hexham Classic Car and Motorsport Show, Hexham and District Motor Club Ltd wish to ensure not only that the event is safe and without risk to anyone but also that safe working practices are maintained at all times. This includes not only our own volunteers but also contractors, exhibitors and members of the public. The show area is considered to be a workplace in legal terms so you must therefore observe relevant health and safety requirements and adopt the best practice.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Hexham and District Motor Club Ltd and Hexham Auction Mart Company Ltd accept no responsibility for any personal injury or for any damage to or loss of vehicles/traders’ entries or personal effects or loss of income incurred by exhibitors or their guests or employees as a result of attendance or proposed attendance at the show.
